At Donnapaola, the Murgian "jazzi", ancient, sturdy shelters for sheep, have become comfortable homes.

In this new type of tourist experience, there are rooms, services for leisure (solarium and bio-lake) and social activities, such as entertainment, communal living and reading.

In every room, there are constant references to the relationship between art and science, thanks to stylised mosaics that depict the primary plant habitats.
Every depiction is a piece of the world that can be discovered exploring this land rich in cultural stimuli.

Currently, Jazzo Gravattale has been restored and converted, and Trullo Taglianaso, Trullo Rosario and Jazzo Rosario are now in the process of being renovated. These interventions on our rural architectural heritage are being carried out using only traditional materials, methods and techniques.

The culture of regenerating inland and rural areas transforms visitors into cultural citizens through the experience of a slow, profound walk through the environment.

Every room has a small outdoor terrace with a table and chairs, to admire the Murgian landscape stretching out as far as the eye can see.

The outdoor spaces offer a view of the surrounding landscape, immersed in a natural ecosystem that is perfectly preserved and integrated into the rural environment. The horizon is brought to life from season to season with continuous blooms that change with the climate.

Huge, centuries-old oak trees surround the residence, allowing you to sit and read in the garden and enjoy a delicious barbecue immersed in nature. The area is also equipped with a solarium, swimming pool and bar.

The old “focagna”, the traditional place for farmers and shepherds to sit together around the fireplace, has become an evocative place for social gatherings, where you can relive the experience of country life.
Part of the Jazzo is also designed as a social kitchen, where any guest can prepare their own meal and share it with other guests in the adjoining social dining room.

Il risveglio a Donnapaola è il primo passo di una giornata immersi nella natura.

Alla Modern Farm ci si risveglia con il canto degli uccelli e il suono del vento tra gli alberi e la selvaggia vegetazione che circonda gli jazzi. La colazione servita a ritmo lento è un’esperienza che fa dimenticare il tempo e riporta l’ospite a contatto con la natura della Murgia più selvaggia.
